Askmeety is an on-device AI meeting assistant designed for Mac users who prioritize privacy. It captures system audio, generates word-perfect transcripts, creates narrative summaries, and extracts action items without using bots or external servers. It features a unique 'VisualWalk' that captures key frames from meetings and an AI assistant called 'Meety' that allows users to search and chat with their entire meeting history offline.

How to Use

Download and install the app on a Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 14 or later. Open Askmeety before joining a meeting on any platform like Zoom or Teams. Click to start recording; the app captures system audio locally. Once finished, the app automatically generates notes, transcripts, and visual summaries which can be exported to Markdown, PDF, Notion, or Obsidian.
